About me

Hello there!
My name is Angelique but online I use the nickname „Ashanti“ or „Artshanti“.I’m an artist from Germany and have basically been creative since kindergarten (mid 80‘s) ;)Around 2006 I chose art to be my main hobby and since 2021 I’m working as a professional part-time artist, take commissioned artwork and have been vending at different European conventions like NordicFuzzCon, Eurofurence and Confuzzled.Most of my originals and limited prints are sold at art exhibitions like the EF Art Show.

Art Style

A variation of semi-realistic animal, fantasy, paleo and sci-fi themed artwork can be found in my portfolio that might remind you of 80‘s or 90‘s aesthetics/pop-culture.Gouache, watercolour, acrylics and ink are my favorite mediums to work with but I also love to fiddle around digitally and create my merchandise with ProCreate.
